Not that he will ever read this, or even care if he did, but as a WVU fan I have to say thank you to Pat White. For four years he has given us all something to look forward to on Saturdays (and sometimes Thursdays.) I grew up dreading any bowl game that my Mountaineers made it to because we always lost -- even that Sugar Bowl that my family traveled to New Orleans to watch. For the past three years, Pat White has led the Eer's into the Sugar, Gator and Fiesta Bowls and led them back out with a win. I admit I got a little teary during his introduction in the last home game (thanks ESPN2 for letting me see it.) While the Meineke Car Care Bowl isn't exactly what we had hoped for this season, it's still a bowl and a winning season. So thanks #5. Thanks for sticking around for four years, for defending the state and the fans, for the wins and the heartfelt effort during the loses and thanks for making us all so proud to be Mountaineers.
